Tribal Arts Dimondstein Tribal Arts was established by Morton Dimondstein in 1970. Since that time, we have specialized in selling tribal antiques from West, East and Central Africa in addition to selling tribal Indonesian and Oceanic art. The inventory of Dimondstein Tribal Arts includes fine, to among the finest, examples of masks, textiles, beads, figures, jewelry, furniture, and terra cotta pieces. Pieces from our inventory have been reproduced in numerous publications and included in exhibitions at the Smithsonian Institute, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Fowler Museum and the Baltimore Museum, to name a few. We exhibit by appointment in Los Angeles and San Francisco, and arrangements can be made in other cities. Our material can be also viewed at tribal art shows throughout the year. This year we will be exhibiting in Los Angeles during November, in San Francisco during February, in New York during May, in Brussels during June and in Paris during September. Please contact us for the specific times and places of these shows. We hold the material that we sell to the highest standards and guarantee the authenticity of all our pieces. We only sell art that was made within a tribe for its own use, not pieces that were made for sale to outside markets. Estimates of the date of creation along with the tribal purpose and function of our pieces are given freely. Dimondstein Tribal Arts is proud to be a founding member of ATA-LA.
